The course runs for 2.5 hours on a Saturday
& Sunday or during the week. The cost is $185.00 and includes all
instruction, equipment and wetsuit.
You will be taught a series of techniques to guide you into being a skilled
and competent sailor. Topics covered include:
- SAFETY
- CONTROLLING THE DIRECTION OF YOUR CRAFT
- TURNS - TACKING, GYBING
- LAUNCHING YOUR CRAFT
- BASIC RIGGING
- WIND & WEATHER PATTERNS
- SELF RESCUE
- SQUARE RUNNING
- & MORE!!
BOAT AND BOUYANCY VEST, WET SUIT ARE SUPPLIED
After the completion of the course we recommend practice on the water to refine your skills. You can hire a Hobiecat at a cost of $30.00 an hour,this includes your Sailboat, tips and our instructors keeping an eye on you. Participants of the course are entitled to our special offer - hire the craft three times and get the fourth hire free BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8AM - 12PM SATURDAY & SUNDAY .
